About MMWC

In the escalating fight against piracy, MMWC was established in 2009 by seasoned maritime security specialists. Its mission is to provide structured best practice and industry standard training across the maritime industry.

Funded by industry associations, MMWC is able to provide essential transit advice and support to all vessels in high risk areas free of charge with the aim that a structured competence will filter through the industry to allow more Masters, crew and land based management teams to have a deeper understanding of preparing and acting against security threats.

Working closely with industry organisations, MMWC is providing the platform from which the entire maritime organisation can work together to win the fight against piracy.
