COMMAND TEAM & CREW TRAINING
The aim of this training is to prepare individual Ships Officers and crew of all nationalities and capabilities for transit through High Risk areas by building on their seagoing and managerial experience. It is designed to raise the standard of training to a much higher level than the widely publicised Best Management Practice and to ensure that their practical and theoretical knowledge covers all requisite areas.
This will include:
- An assessment of the current onboard security plan and Emergency Response Procedures (ERP)
- Instruct and help prepare a vessel for a high risk transit using the Layered Defence System
- Design and implement robust anti-piracy drills for repeat practice
- Design and implement an effective watch system
- Advise on efficient communication with coalition forces in the event of an incident
- Design and advise on the creation of a citadel
- Use of briefings, intelligence and bridge cards

Who Should Undertake this Training?
All crew transiting High Risk areas irrespective of vessel size, speed and freeboard.
Method of Delivery:
An MMWC certified trainer will embark your vessel for a minimum of 2 days, typically at Port Said, Egypt.
