Why should you partake in this scheme?

Collectively, masters and bridge teams across the world see and hold more information on suspect small vessel locations and descriptions than any other intelligence service currently available. There is currently no method for sharing this data with other masters nearby and together, we can lower the risk to seafarers around the world.

How does it work?

Masters can report their sightings, in confidence, to MMWC who will distribute this information to other vessels in the same area. No masters' names, ship names or company names will be shared – simply timely, accurate and relevant intelligence being passed master to master.

What is needed from you?

The more vessels that register their passage details and report in, the greater the intelligence that can be passed back out to others. All you need to do is ask your masters to feed back the following information to us:

• Vessel description
• Number of vessels sighted
• Location
• Number of persons onboard
• Any weapons sighted
• Any photographs taken

Which regions are included?

The aim is to cover every high risk area around the world so it is worth reporting all sightings regardless of location.

How much does it cost?

This is a FREE service but its success depends on YOUR commitment.

What do I need to do now?

Step 1: To register your company for this service download the Registration Form

Step 2: Email completed form back to MMWC

Step 3: Download the Sightings Report Form and email to all your masters

Step 4: Forward details of the service to your contacts in the industry
