SHIP SUPPORT SERVICE
A dedicated telephone and email support service for vessels wishing to transit or anchor in high risk piracy areas. Support will be provided both prior to and during transit.
Pre-transit Support
Experienced maritime advisors will engage with your bridge team to ensure they are as fully prepared as they can be prior to entry of a high risk area.
They will provide you with:
- Military Convoy or Group Transit opportunities and arrange inclusion where appropriate
- Intelligence reports of suspect and confirmed pirate activity in your area
- Weather forecasts and the risk implications
- A comprehensive pre-departure risk assessment to identify areas of vulnerability
- Countermeasure advice – methods to strengthen vulnerable areas
Transit Support:
- Our maritime advisors will make regular scheduled contact with the bridge team to provide the latest intelligence reports and advice should any pirate activity be reported.
- 24 hour telephone and email support is available to the bridge team for any advice on any security matters during transit

Who Should Use this Service?
It is strongly advised that all vessels transiting high risk areas should use this service.
If your vessel does not have additional security on board, or your crew has not received any anti-piracy training you must book this service.
