SHORE-BASED MANAGEMENT TEAM TRAINING
Our training for shore-based management teams provides a heightened understanding of what the operating crew will encounter and what steps can be taken to prevent, detect and deal with an incident.
Training includes:
- Simulation based anti-piracy experience and exercises*
- The value of organisational-wide training and onboard countermeasures
- Vessel design implications for countermeasure selection
- Understanding the threat and the scale of impact of an incident
- Effective emergency response procedures
- The negotiation process and hostage release – what can be done to accelerate your vessels' release
This course is recommended for:
- CSOs
- DPAs
- Fleet Superintendents
- Company Directors
- Maritime Consultants
- Any persons with an interest in vessel security
Recommended minimum duration:
- 1 day classroom training
- 1 day simulator training*

Training is available on a bespoke basis only.

Simulator training takes place in Portsmouth, UK unless an alternative simulator can be used in your preferred location.
